deciding if i should get a crf50???

hey everyone..
i have been saving up etc and have enough to get a crf50 brand new

but im not too sure because im like 5'11 and fairly heavy
and i like a bit of power..
so i was looking into a 2nd hand bigger bike but i have been sure to get a 50 up until now..
can anyone help and tell me if i should get one? or will it be too little/slow.

Well youll be able to put an 88kit on to the crf50..depends on how fast you want to go? How much you got to spend? What will the bike be used for mostly???? Will you be riding with mates? What they got..few things to think about........

I reckon stick to the crf50 if that's what you have wanted, but if your really worried about the size and the speed maybe have a look into a klx110.

yeah im not too sure
just dont want to put 2 grand into something that might not be good
i dunno. do you personally like them?

Personally i like both, i went to a klx110 first because i was like you worried about the size and the speed. but looking a little more into it crf50/xr50's have started to grown on me. especially a little stocker witch i have heard around the forum doesn't cost to much to build. either way each one is fun and the point of a mini is being small and being able to chuck it around. =)

everyone on here loves them, I wouldn't buy one because they're too small and you gotta front some big $ to make it rideable, I'd rather spend 1k on a china 10"er to muck around on and spend the big $ on a bigger better bike

ohh, haha just some china seat shhhh it does the job for now..... and yehh if some one offers me want i want for it i may let it go but its heaps fun!! and im your average 16 yr old and it not to small...

buy a crf50, do the basic mods, bars springs etc and you will see its fine for what ever size rider. I ride a stocker and it hauls my fat arse around fine the bigger you are are the better it is

there are some great buys around for a honda with an 88kit & suspension mods & an aftermarket frame ive seen for around $2200 to $2500 , keep an eye out cos they are a ball to ride

there is a lot more satisfaction in building up your own bike though, and then you get to do exactly what you want for it. Can be more expensive though but ehh
