hey guys, just wonderin r there different types of mini bikes, cause lookin around there seems to be bikes that look like 50's and small bikes with big back suspension and stuff. it may be just photo angles but it definatly seems like there r at least two types of bikes?
just gettin all the info cause im gonna get one. ive heard, pit bikes, thumpsters and mini bikes being used to describe them, r they all refering to the same thing? or are they all different types of bikes? (yes how noobish lol)

pitbikes ,thumpsters (i hate that one) are the same where as a minibike may or may not be a pitbike as a minibike is classified as a bike for kids such as a crf80 ,ttr125 etc are classified as minibikes but are not pitbikes.Pitbikes range in size a few years ago (04) pitbikes were a tad smaller than the current models if anyone noticed but now days most of the crf styled bikes are around the 750mm seat height however there are exeptions with the new klx/drz 110 style fast50s on the market such as the prox's and agb29 etc have a taller seat height than the crf styled bikes.

Not all pit bikes are created equal. They all come from china and all have quality issues compared to japaneese bikes. Many of the bikes are from the same factorys in china bu sold under different names in Australia with slight differences in specs that you cant always see.
