DIY Minibike UteTransport Rack

Hey guys,

Not sure whether this should be in here or general chat but I ended up here.

I am planning on putting together my own ute rack instead of buying one (for a quick build project.) Just wondering if anyone has done the same and has any advice (for or agaisnt the idea)?

I don't have access to a welder so for now metal is out and I'm looking at using timber. I've got pretty much every woodworking tool under the sun so that shouldnt be a problem.

Something along the lines of this...

Cant see why it cant be done with wood, ensure the 45 on where the front wheel sits is strong..
Put a guide for the rear wheels and eyelets between each so you can tie them down.
Put the eyelets for the front in a similar angle to the forks, but out of the way.

Ensure the middle one is far ahead or far behind.. aheads probably a better idea...
