next door to you
i was looking on ebay as you do and saw a crf 50 for $900
it didnt have much a sticker kit and bars
it was a 2006 i think is that a reasonable price for what it is and how much would it cost to get one of them fandango 88cc kit
and how many horsepower does an 88cc kit add
any help apreciated.

If you wanna talk HP your on the wrong forum...

And i have no idea why this thread is called "Down grade"

Really depends on what 88 kit you buy.. stock the crf50's are like 2.9hp apparently, but 88 kits can go from 3.5 - 4 hp and up.. depending on head and piston combos you can get some serious go from a 88kit.

My crf50 has a superhead+r 88 , takegawa claim 11.8hp with a vm26 carbi. I havn't put it on a dyno but i know this thing has more go than my china 124 with claimed 10hp which is more like 8 realistically.

Depends on the dollors in you pocket.. looking at a $900 bike... wanna drop another $2k in head/bore/carbi and exhaust to get above 10hp ? nevermind suspension and bars etc..
