Ducar 125cc, only starts in neutral!

Hi all,

Does anyone know of a way to bypass the ducar so it kicks over in any gear as long as you hold in the clutch.

Hi mate, welcome!

unfortunatly you wont be able to without modifications to the gearbox. Prob upgrade motors would be the best option to a start in any gear motor.

get a lifan engine for the bike, easier than replacing gearbox etc, and u get a much better engine

Ive got my doubts with gearbox mods for the ducar, if you really wanted start in any gear, a lifan motor upgrade would be the best option (ive just gone through this with my agb-29), it can be achived for around $250.

The ducar is brand new, not sure I want to buy a new engine just yet, well at least till its thrashed out.
BTW how much better are the Lifan motors?

Lifan are much better, take the ducar out while its brand new and sell on ebay for whatever you can get and get a lifan.

They have each got there pro's and cons.

there 127cc (54x55.5) even though there not 138cc still great motor all up gear box , start in gear, big valve head, crf50 type cam, clutch on main shaft so an inner rotor and lightened oil slinger are not a problem.
