hi all
im after a good oil for my bike cause ive ran it in now and its time to change the motor oil on the ducar atomik motox 125cc. on my other bikes i have ran motul but now there is new ppl at the motoshop were i go and i went today and they dont no what the oil code is they said they have to see the bike. anyways do any of use no what oil i should use?? do u no the motul oil code?

thanks

hey man i think you engine should be running 10W-40 like mine or 20W-50 mate and since its ducar it would probably by 10W-40

can you put synthectic in instead of mineral?? is it better for the engine parts??

mineral you want to use for the run in period so everything beds nicly. then after that point on you can you synthetic oils.

Cheers, Tony.

We use the maxima synthetic blend 10-40 in all of our ducars, do not put it in until you have several hours on the motor.

castrol magnatek 10w-40... cheaper than motul etc, and works just as well..... good gear! use it! its not a top-fueller, use the magnatek!!!!!!!!!... hope this helps...

I got an Atomik Moto Cross 125 a few weeks ago.
I have used less than two tanks of petrol using synthetic oil (Mobil). Does this matter much? Should I change to mineral?

ive been told not to use synthetic during runnin in your engine but after you can use synthetic

Use only Mineral oil for the best run, Changing to Synthetic too early will not stuff your motor but compression could be better.
I use BELRAY 10w 40 semi sythetic even after run in
the clutch works better
simple.
