I think electric bikes would be some great fun. No doubt they are the way of the future as technology advances they will get better and faster. The torque on some of these electric motors is amazing and accompanied by no engine braking they have the potential to become very quick bikes. Electric bikes such as the Zero MX and Quantya are being produced and KTM have also built an electric bike so they will all just keep improving and getting better and better.

Yeah they still got a long way to go and I wouldnt be buying one coz I could buy any 450 for the same price or less. The electric bike does have its benefits though such as riding anywhere at anytime without bothering anyone. We could have tracks in every suburb for these things with night riding as well (as long as there is somewhere to plug in and charge batteries at the tracks ).

They would be heeps good because you could ride anywhere without annoying people...

But cmon i couldn't ride a bike that is silent , just wouldn't feel right .. be like riding a pushbike

Yeah same motor just different ratios.

Damn it goes alright. Hard to believe how well it goes. Once they get the running time out to a few more hours they will be sweet. Plenty of power still.

The ZeroMotorcycles seem pretty Interesting! They go pretty quick as well...with further advancement and Technology I reckon these Electric Bikes will be the future for sure...imagine being able to ride at places you only imagined with a near silent Bike...Ohh the Possibilities

I'm gettin one ... then I'm gunna strap a BIG solar panel to my head and ride non stop clean across the country smokin weed , saving trees and endagered animals the whole way ... yeah I'm gunna get sponsored by a vegan grade tofu company so I'll have an electric chase car to feed me it on the moove it's gunna be awsome.
