Electronics experts needed

Hi guys...

Just wondering if there are any electronics guru's here?

im looking for a camcorder and/or digital camera with an IR function if anyone knows anything about these??

i have been googling but also looking for anyone that has some knowledge in electronics.

IR as in infared?

If so, don't bother. Would take 2 weeks to transfer a 100mb file. Literally.

if expence isn't an issue them you can get reasonable ones

but if you looking for a run of the mill camera with ir tech then dont even bother wasteing your time you wont get a picture worth watching without selling ya car to buy one

hehehe. with some cameras, if you use nitemode during the day and an IR filter of some description you can see through clothing no joke. not all clothing, just like shirts and stuff. it probably would be illegal to some point so I wouldnt go walking around shopping centres or the beach with a video camera. I had a sony vid camera with just the IR night mode and it worked to some extent. google it man I am sure you will be able to find more on it.

Funny you should say that...when you google "infared camera" one of the automated suggestions is that ....lol

ok, what im doin..

im taking my wife on her b'day (and group of friends) mid next month for a ghost tour, now every review ive read about it there has been great sucess with digi cameras capturing "things" what im trying to do, to make it memorable for her is video taping it...then i thought about IR to give you the whole experiance and you never know, maybe catch something unexplainable..

after reading the above article, i figure i could buy a IR lamp with a battery pack and somehow rig it up to my camcorder...AND by rights film in darkness..i found these..

Ghost tour indeed... The first thing I think of when someone mentions IR video camera's is a certain Paris Hilton video

Any modern camera running IR is likely going to be good. What's your price range?

Haha yeah id like to say i didnt think of the "other" uses...lol but id be lying..

nah serious going on a surprise ghost tour.

i was looking at camcorders with IR but they were $1999+ so...thats why im looking at other options...like above an IR lamp running of batts somehow attached to my camcorder...

hahah i can just imagine how many kids are rustling through the cupboards now looking for a camcorder...lol and googling IR filters..lmao

Search Ghoast adventures. Its a bunch of guys that go into haunted places with IR cameras and record it pretty trippy stuff.
