now i have tried the screw that lets the petty drain, but i cant undo it!

did you put the slide back into the carb the right way and also the spring ?

are u running a/m bars? as the cable could be to short as the top cap on ya carb looks like the cable is getting bent and that could be getting stuck

ive ghad it with throttle cables as ive snapped 2 in the past month

thanks rd, i found it!! i pulled it apart and then noticed how the slide was was made, and yea... i figured it out from there

Oh and thats not a 26mm carbi its a 22mm, mikuni 26's dont look like that.

Its a classic ebay rip off VM22 mikuni copy labled as a 26mm. and dont flame me back i have 2 of these things i know what im talking about.

yeh my bro was rinning a/m bars and thorttle was to short when he turns lol
pretty cool trick when it turns it revs . but yeh new cable and its sweet as , yeh as suggested , check that the throttle piston is in the right spot , it has a special spot that it slides into . but if you havent it will be at WOT wide open throttle.. or close to.

I know this is an old thread but they put these carbs on the pitpro 140 and they are not "copies" or "fakes" they are genuine Mikuni carbs just made in China not Japan.

I snapped my throttle cable on mine too and had to replace it, when I replaced it the slide was stuck up a bit so it reved out at idle speed, its just a matter of pressing the slide all the way down.

You should have taken the air filter off and looked at the slide, as for the drain screw, its pretty tight, get a long screw driver, that'll get it loose easy.

Ha I know this is old and you've fixed it by now but I couldnt resist. :D

Also, I got one of the mechanics from Mikuni to verify what model carb and info on it, and sure enough, its genuine.
