Gotta have a legit plated mini in the shed, so I bought a '70 CL70, and stuck together a TB117 4 speed manual for it. Needs more oats to haul my wide arse, so I'm doing up a little bigger motor. YX/Piranha 160, stock 60mm bore and a 63mm stroker, 178, with a tidied-up 4-valve head. Tuned for roll on torque, she is. PE28(my fav) breathing through the frame like the stock 17mm Keihin did. Less intake racket. Bike's got fresh Michelin's, wheel bearings and seals, fork rebuild, brake shoes. Gonna need a period-correct disk up front, I'm afraid, leading caliper like a CB750K0 should be right. Winter's long here, so I'll get to it:)

Gonna do an SS50Z fake with the other one I have, to look sorta like:

Not bad . winter must suck , all year round sunshine here :aetsch:

Yeah, but it gives time to let the bruises heal, and build the next season's rides. I can always go 500 miles South and get all-year dirt riding, but we do have a good time on the frozen ponds. Between Scott Parker, Jay Springsteen and Jared Mees, all locals, there are a BUNCH of AMA XR750 #1 plates out there. I stay outta the way when they get all race-facey. lol

New Years Day or the Ice Diaries 2010!

They run at the local indoor hockey rink too. I'm WAY too slow for that show;)
