Fort Lytton Closing:(

Just saw this on 50brohood site thought id better share,as not long to go!

Fingers crossed they relocate..
Our next club day has been changed to Sunday 28th September. This is the last club day for 2008, and for Fort Lytton. Fort Lytton will shut its gates for the last time on September 30th, as the Port of Brisbane is reclaiming the land. At this stage we have no word on when or where the club is relocating to (if at all) but I will keep you all posted.

I will let you know when presentation will be....

I have some numbers for people to call to vent/complain/have your say but 12 inch has hidden them on me, so I will post them as soon as I find them.

A flyer is being sent out to all club members post haste!

it is closing 30 septmember, it sucks, and ive allready done an email. Ken went on a meeting with judy spence, sport somethinaratcher. the meeting was sunday the 14th sept. i dont know what hapenend. they are trying to build a bloody 4 lane (each way ) road through it. THAT IS THE STUPIDEST THING I HAVE EVER HEARD the council doesnt need it, or the could only do 2 lanes each way or something, but this is rediculous. if they are going to shut down reedy creek, kilcoy, and stanmore, where are us riders going INTO THE BUSH, WHERE THEY DONT WANT US!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its just rediculous, and we need to do something, maybe chain ourselves to the fences or something.

oh yeah, and fort lyttonn is the best track in se qld i recon. plus they will not even start to build it for like 3 years STUPID... the politicians have once again screwed us over
