i currently own a 2007 motovert Type R, pulling it out of the shed afew months ago and realizing it still looked ok, considering i thrashed it for a year or so before putting it there i got it running, ridden it most days since then and it now looks hacked to say the least.....summer is here, well not really for us in SA so im going to do a ground up rebuild and polish it all up and hopefully sell it off. im thinking of painting the frame from its origional grey/shiny color to a matt black or gloss black finish, what paint should i use, where can i get it? do i need heavy duty stuff ect, Thanks

You could send it to a powder coating place or you can use automotive car paint which is also durable

You can buy epoxy frame paint from some bike shops and maybe some hardware stores ...

yeah epoxy paint is good, i paint race car rims with it (2 pak form) and its pretty durable.

but yeah power coating is the best, but if its just for resale then at least use 2pak paint..

yeh, i dont want to be a ****** when i sell it so ill do a decent job at respraying it. but for a china im not going to bother powder coating it. ill do a fair few coats of this 2pac paint
