Front rim bent??

Hi all
My son took a really hard fall he landed on the front tire pretty hard and did a couple flips


When i look at the bike i think his front rim or disc brake is bent ...

Here is what happens
Look at the front of the bike if i turn the wheel in forward motion the wheel turns fine

If i move the tire backwards away from me the tire will stop and get hung up...

Any idea what this could be ...
I dont see any bent spokes or any type of damage ...

the bike will move fine if it is on the gorund both fron and back...

sounds like a bent disc is rubbung causing it to stop spinning, get someone to spin the front wheel fast while you get down to a level where you can see if its not straight

The 'grain' of the disk and pads gets laid down in one direction and will grab when reversed, so everything may be just fine if thats all thats happening.

Hard to bend a disk, there sort of outa the way. A bent axle though will cause a problem, but is easily fixed.

Didn't happen to get your sons endo on film?
