*** he must have been doing something pretty mean to do so much damage, the seat mounts are torn out, rear shocka broken, more than likely fuked up his chain, swingarm would have a nice tear in it from the rear brake pump thingo (when the swingarm drops, first thing it hits is the brake thingo and its much past that point.) and unfortunatly this is all due to bad shockas from stock.

recommend to anyone with this bike, getting the new staggs racing shocka for the pitster pro x3r as this is rated at 1200lbs (as apposed to the 650 stock) and also has bump and rebound, adjustable preload and is juat plain and simply solid. retail is something like $400 i think.

yeah thats true for the pitster 125x but not for the x3 or x3r, they are running staggs racing front and back, high end fastace is good but the stock fastace are **** house, i would find it hard to believe that you could get a shocka much worse.

my orion did this. snapped the frame. looked worse than what it was but needed the frame welding. just managed to get another frame off ebay for £22 bargain. but will have o stiffen it up to stop it happening again

That bike looks like it has the pitster shock fitted. Good advertising for it.

Staggs has been rebadging forks and shocks from fastace for ages. The new pitster shock is 'sposed to be made in diff. factory in taiwan. But I dunno...everything they have ever offered in the past has been fastace, and they still offer everything fastace, so have a big relationship with the factory. I reckon they commisioned the fastace factory to build the new pitster shock.

The new i-shock is worth checking out also.

the i-shock revert or whatever its called, looks allight and with a lifetime gaurentee it does seem tempting. thanks mack for the useful information on the staggs and fastace, something i didnt know about.

Cheers, Tony.

hey guys new to the site. Staggs Racing and fastace have no business relationships what so ever. Also the staggs works 1 forks are not related to fastace in any way and are a totaly different design.
