i know its abit silly when u can just open the tank up and have a look but has anyone put a fuel gauge onto there dirt bike if so how would u go about doin it?

i dont think its a good idea, most fuel gauges run a float in the fuel tank to measure the level of fuel alot of muking round to be done and would not be accurate when riding offroad because of large bumps.

i wouldnt a red light or somthing that would indicate when the tank is low... but is not necessary, fill ur tank up ride with the fuel tap set to full and when it starts getting there turn it to reserve and this gives you about another hour to get to back.... but off course i dont care, i get a fair bit out off a tank

a fuel gauge would b pointless n i dont c wat is so hard to take the fuel cap off lol... a fuel light for wen u r low on fuel would b good for a bike without a reserve
