Good Buy?

Gday fellas,

I picked up one of these BSF Expert 125 Thumpstar on the weekend for $250, the kick start doesnt work and it needs a new rear brake aswell as blows some smoke so I think the motor is in need of a rebuild but still goes pretty hard once ya roll start it! I never planned on getting into mini bikes but when this popped up I couldn't say no. I think I am now addicted to it! Does anyone have an old bike I could get the rear brake off? The rest of the bike is awesome, I will post a few pics up when I sort my camera out!

But yeah I'm after a rear brake if anyone has one they wanna sell, Im in Canberra

I got it off a young fella who advertised it in the local classifieds, didn't bother to ask where he got it from as I did not know it was a good one I just thought it was a regular ebay one that I could fix up and cruise around on.

I love it mate, it's sick! I'm gunna get the motor rebuilt and the little things fixed up on it, ride it around for a while then probably sell it to someone who will appreciate it more than I will.

Wouldn't want to do a trade for the frame , can give you a freshly powder coated chromoly frame to fit the bike plus cash your way??? haha sorry

nah mate, the only thing I would do is swap it for another bike that is fine and needs no work. Otherwise it's staying in one piece with me!

Oh yep just worked out how to view your gallery. I would swap ya if its for the green one and it can be started without having to roll start it, it's giving me the ***** haha
