I was just lookin on ebay and came across a guy selling orion agb34 140cc bikes and his comments about the bike made me laugh so I thought id show u. The price of the bike is a complete ripoff and u only need to read his comments about the $300 fastace shock and the $800 worth of extras and you can tell he talks ****. I found it funny but i supose people that dont know any better may believe him so thats why i thouight id point it out. I dont like to see people get ripped off

orion dirt bike 140cc pit bike oil cooled - eBay Other Quads, Trikes, Buggies, Quads, Trikes, Buggies, Motorcycles, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 09-Aug-08 16:55:37 AEST)

Ok boys I'll run it past the boss but yeah I'm likin the idea too:cool:

i just ordered mine off him thanks guys :(

Not the end of the world mate you'll have fun on it and buy bits as ya break em but it's an entry level bike and the 700 worth of extras is bullsh@t plain n simple .... ya gotta read the fine print mate ....after reading that I don't think their after sales is all up to scratch either..... when they say

" Warranty covers the engine only and no labour, In the event of a faulty part, we require the part sent back to us to have it examined and will be replaced once it is deemed faulty by our professionals, The buyer is responsible for all postage costs of returning any faulty item back to us, Any labour costs incurred on the buyer during replacing the faulty part are at the buyers expense and at no time will we refund these charges "

It really means if it breaks you're on your own .Like I said not the end of the world crew here will help ya .... but yeah you did get ripped in my opinion ... not horrendously.... it was only 900

but ripped just the same

Someone else said jokingly he's just makin a livin ...yeah but all jokes aside???

ripping crew off aint much of a living.

oops my bad i was meant to put a j/k on there my bad. I wouldnt pay 900 for a chinelike that tho my first pitty was a 125 version of that bike only payed like 300 new for it tho.

oh yeh and kool magazine as well that 50's brotherhood one

^^Very well said dready;) . I think panda may be joking though coz im sure he knows his bike is better than that.

Hahaha it just gets better hey, I didnt even bother reading the fine print but now that I have it just confirms my first opinion of the rooster man.

Just recieved a threatening pm from mr rooster he claims to advertise in the mag and would be speaking with my boss.

I told him buyin ads in the brotherhood certainly doesn't buy my unwavering support ....most here know I give that to people like MSO who I think deserve it with there level of service and honesty whilst trading inside an industry that has some very dodgy characters.

I also said that I'd retract my statements if he can show me 800 worth of extras on that bike

I'm awating a reply

lol

i hate it when they go on ebay and bull **** about stuff like that..'this is the best bike on ebay' what i hear is 'this bike has 800 dollars of extra parts, but im selling it for less than everyone else, just cause im a kind soul'. another thing thats anoying is when people say this is the most powerful 250 on the market. what about rmx250s with 40 hp? but still, they have to sell these to someone...

yea, hopefully that thing ur writin up in the brohood will make people think twice or get a second opinion about buying a bike off ebay

Yeah same ....still haven't heard back from him

Did speak to the boss though and apparently no one is selling orions in the mag ..... even if they were I think they are sh@t and am entitled to my opinion

He says he is sponsoring two goldy riders..... has anyone seen em at a track or meet ???...anywhere??...
Anyway as I said before my loyalty lies with the brotherhood and companies like MSO who are furthering and supporting the pitbike scene not raping it like some of the flea bay dealers ....I been sayin that on here for a long time and if he had a clue or cared he wouldn't be sending me threats about my job he'd be answering the questions and allegations of dodgyness raised in this thread .

and besides ...... to quote sideshow bob

" MY OPINIONS ARE AS VALID AS THE NEXT MANS ":p

Thanx for the support boys nice to know ya got my 6.(ARMY SLANG FOR 6 0'CLOCK)or my back as it's known:cool:

They dont even have USD forks and still have the weak swing arms, hard hand grips, these bikes look thrown together from last years leftovers

Haha well im not goin to bother starting to name the differences but I decided to call the rooster man today and it rang out and went to his message bank. He sounds like a pom or irish and he says he is from some maintanace company. I left a message but im not holding my breath waiting for a return call but ill let u know if he does.

I also noticed he has nothing listed on ebay anymore lol

just had an hour on the phone with him ....in the end ???

he's not that bad ....he understands his advert is a bit misleading and he should have said best bike for this price ...not just best bike.... I think you may see a more believable advert when he is back on ebay.
Also he may have been shafted a little by orion as well as the 34 on there site is top of the line apparently and not standard.... he says his are standard and they come standard with conventional forks ..... anyone know fore sure ???

He doesn't particularly like orions and agrees they are an entry level bike he rides a cinny but reckons he couldn't keep the store (yeah he's got a shopfont on the Goldy) if he didn't sell em .He agrees with me on alot of aspects of ebay and I honestly think after talkin to him that he resents having to deal on ebay at all but knows no other way to keep the doors open ....I think he isn't the only one either

I'm still writing the article but it's becoming more complicated than I first had thought ....these guys are not the ones that drove the margins down to this point and screw the industry....the chinese did by making the same bike in 5 different build qualities outta the same factory ranging in price from 200 us to 800 us ..... so yes there is more to this than meets the eye .

But I'm on it

i emailed this guy regarding the misleading info on the rear shock. saying that the bs66rc fastace is not more than 180 retail so why state incorrect pricing. if you offer competetive pricing and honest salesman ship you will find your bikes flying out the door. its being proven with MSO, East 50;s etc.
