I checked the head stocks (head tube) on several frames :
DHZ twin pipe , DHZ Monster twin trellis , Pimpit KLX type , and SDG twin pipe were all 158 to 160 mm .....
An early DHZ CRF50 copy frame measured .... 138 mm ..... IF you have the short head stock you'll need a shorter steering stem ......
Also .... all the other frames took 44 mm O/D bearings ..... 22 I/D X 44 O/D top and 23.5 I/D x 44 O/D bottom .......
Except the Pimpit KLX type and the CRF50 types which take 41 mm O/D bearings .... 22.5 I/D x 41 O/D top and 23.5 I/D x 44 O/D bottom .....
Most USD forks have long steering stems to suit the 160 mm long head stock tubes .....
Fast Ace fork steering stems (and most likely the Pimpit Marzocchi copies) are machined to suit CRF bearings (but are longer than stock CRF stems) .....
Whereas DHZ USD forks and most other USD forks are machined to suit the 44 mm bearing I/D's ..........
