i been busy , doin the house and buying new toys , got me a new ride wanna look

This is my new BRP (Big Red Pig), She's a 05 xr650r , has safri tank 25ltr, and a few other bobs and sods , she' boogies big time

this is the bike im riding to capeyork in july nxt yr with 2 other mates , got a few mods to do to her so i'll make a build thread is you like to watch
 
**** yeah mate she looks good my 450 Honda pulls like a 16 yr old Id imagine that thing does too
 
yes been real busy with work and all that jazz , back to work nxt week

the BRP flys , its grunt all the way , top speed 180+ , not that i'll set it , but i can load her up and she will pull all my gear and my fat arse anywhere

new tyres nxt week , and my panier racks are on there way from the states , looking for a steering damper ,but i hate to drop 700 on that just yet , soo a few weeks away maybe

still gotta love it tho
 
Gotta love the gold old XR's. Still IMO the most reliable dirt bikes ever built and that one is in shmick condition.

Thanks nick , yes its in tip top condition , was owned by a enginer so he knew his stuff , has a few mods , rejetted , airbox mod , cr500 rebuilt rear shock , opend up stock exhaust , 1 inch risers with renthal fat bars , B&B bashplate and barkbusters,

The exact reason i got it was coz of the reliable easy to work on XR reputation
Baja 1000 proven winner time and time again
 
Hey Snitchy, good to see your still kicking. I had a 99 xr600 a few years back and the things was bullet proof. Im sure the big girl will serve ya well mate on your trip.
