helmet cam?

hey guys,
ok soon im selling an old pw80 to a friend for $150 so ive been thinking what to get and i relised that i should get a helmet cam!
so any decent helmet cams for around or under 150 bucks???
eyeing off these ones:

what i want is one that will:
last
has a fairly long battery life (2-3 hours)
waterproof
shockproof
large memory/ memory card
easy to use
has straps and mounting thingy majigs!

how much quality do you want because those cheaper cams dont do a very good res and there are 720p and 1080p options now for not much more

i have the ContourHD 720p and its awesome and take it from me that videos moto, mtb, snowboarding etc etc you need the quality to enjoy it to be honest - its hard enough trying to see the size of jumps and stuff without it

Gopro HD there is no other cam avalaible , ContourHD meh

just ask all the pro's and most extream sporstmen what they use , it aint the ContourHD

its i think a late 80's or early 90's model,
registerable sort with light, brakelight, blinkers (missing), number plate holder,
pretty sure it has low km's but ill check on saturday!

Mate dont waste your money , if it aint HD it aint worth it , i know you young and keen to vid , but if you buy a quality cam it will last for yrs , save lil man save

snitchy why are you such a hater of the contourHD?

disadvantages of GoPro
- you have to look at a redlight to know if its on coz you cant hear the beep and this isnt easy if its on your helmet
- you dont know where its pointing if its on your helmet and you are trying to adjust what it is pointing at
- cant twist lense to make it video level when its mounted on an angle

ContourHD has a slider to start recording so you always know when its recording and it also has a loud beep it also has 2 laser pointers on the front of the lense the point out so you can adjust where you are aiming the camera while its on your helmet on your head and as mentioned you can also twist the lense (unlike the gopro) so that it is always videoing level even when the cam is on an angle.

me and my mates video alot of stuff with a mixture of contours and gopros and have compared them alot - if you are purely one eyed for the gopro then you are missing out on some features and it does have some niggles with it but essentially both produce the same results

prolly not so much a hater just not a fan , yes i have used 1 have seen lots of footage with them ,

Sound is crap
picture is not as good as gopro imo
beep sound i can hear fine
gopro also has way more mount options
better battery life in gopro as you can charge and film at saME TIME
will have better options very soon

ie realtime display for wrist viewfinder wireless , extended battery life
external mic for vice recording

there to name a few

this is all my opinion , also the same opinion as many many other ppl
take alook at all the big time fmx and rally and such :confused-smiley-013

yea not at all... but it might sound a little like a z50... and that'd be worth more...
