hi guys , I picked up this mini this week, buying it as a "motovert" but it doesn't seem to look like my last motovert, it has a pitpro engine but apparently its its second engine, and having no stamping or marzocchi parts etc im kinda leaning towards the fact that it isn't a motovert,, although I haven't seen this billet alloy cradle frame in many cheap minis
At the end of the day,, I got it at a great price.. just want to know what it actually is .

thanks in advance

yeah, thats a Motovert. a few members on here were looking at buying that bike when it was mention in the Ebay/Gumtree bargains thread.

as for the forks, motovert were putting Marzocchi copies on their bikes for a while, but going by the pic you posted, they do not look like genuine items, or copies.

it has alot of potential, especially with the frame!

Welcome to Miniriders :)

cheers, yeah long time member, 1st post LOL

sounds good, yeah I picked it up for $200 runs well just needs some love,, any idea on what year it is?

would not have a clue, although it should say somewhere on a plate on your headstem. come to think of it, it should also tell you what brand the bike is.

have a look up on the headstem, and see if there is a plate pop-riveted on

Hey dude I was gonna buy that
Just letting you know the frame is cracked and lots more stuff but you've probably figured it all out.

Here's a message I got:
Dear *me*,

There is just a crack in the frame that needs welding other than that though it's fine.

He also told me later on that it won't go in a straight line because the wheels are off centre

hey mate, yeah the crack is just the fork stopper tab to stop the tripple clamp from turning 180 degrees. as for the wheels they just had incorrect spacers

anyone else got any insight as to what this actually is?

im chasing some marzocchi forks and a rear shock, if anyone has anything

the forks look closer to a dnm hornet set up, may have been pinched of a braaap. ive seen heaps of those style forks on braaaps over here anyway.... i was looking around online and thought maybe its a g craft frame? hard to tell with out the id plate tho...

close, still a bit different... has had no signs of a plate riveted to it,
