Help Needed For A Question: Electrical

Hey there guys, I've gotta do a kitchen reno 2moro which involes fitting a hard wired 14 Amp oven (just an oven there is no cook top) and i need to know if i need to install an isolating switch to the oven?? I know that an isolation switch is required for cook tops but i cant find anything about an oven in AS/NZS 3000, it only states about appliances with exposed heating elements

The rule book is the worst book ever, nothin in this book is ever clear

Im not sure of how many other sparkys are on here i dont think that it'll be many but if you could point me in the right direction and maybe the rule no. that'd be awesome,

haha dont worry i found it its written as a note down the bottom so i dont need one, yay less work, lol this is why i dont do domestic, lol

yeah i'm a sparky, the rule books hopeless isn't it? so hard to find what your looking for.

yep its useless, ya think ya found the answer but no it directs ya to a different rule. some times its just easier to ring an inspector and ask them lol, what sorta work you do?

i'm a second year for a company called vos electrical, its a varely large company so i get a good bit of variety. Domestic, commercial and a little industrial and mechanical, mainly new stuff so no crappy rewires which is good
