Help Please!

Hi

After replacing a broke pull start on my 50cc bike it now not a smooth movement when i pull it. It has about 4 stages before getting to the end of the string.
Also the bike isn't starting. Sometimes it starts then cuts out a few seconds after.
Anybody help me please on these two problems?

Well, Maybe your engine is seized or nut on the recoil is too tight? For not starting or running for short bursts. Try cleaning your carb. check the hose and filter or any on/off valves. Just some ideas for you dude.

If its the type of bike it think it is then it could already have reached the end of its life. They dont live too long those little 2 stroke minibikes.

Thanks for the surgestions guys. Cleaned all carb out and cleaned all valves out and it is sounding better but still not running properly. I think it could be the throttle as it is buggered so will fit a new one and if it isn't that then I will chuck it.
