Hey, well we rang around some places to try and fix my bike but none of them will work on it because I didn't buy it from there shop etc so I have to do the timing myself.

Anyway, the guy at Pitpro gave me some pretty confusing instructions. Here they are:

"1.Take the gear lever off.
2.Take the side cover off( the chain side ).
3.On the top(right) of the motor there is a single bolt(10 mm) that holds the(left)casing on,you need to take that off to take the left side casing off.
There will be a 'F' mark and a 'T' mark on the shiny thing(stator) near the chain to the wheel. There is also a mark on the motor (12 o'clock position).
There is also a dot on the cog (top of motor under the case that has been taken of). There is also a notch on(line)around the area of the cog(12 o'clock to the head). Rotate the stator around until the 'T' lines up with the notch on the motor. The dot on the top sprocket needs to line up with the mark on the top of the motor. You might need to spin the stator around again to get the dot to the top. I hope this helps.L et me know how you go."

They don't make sense, it's like he's saying the same things over again but differently.

I took the case bit off and saw the stator, that's all I could recognize though. The guy that gave me the instructions is talking about dots and things, I couldn't see any. Also, what is with this part "they are:

"1.Take the gear lever off.
2.Take the side cover off( the chain side ).
3.On the top(right) of the motor there is a single bolt(10 mm) that holds the(left)casing on,you need to take that off to take the left side casing off."

Wtf? Aren't 2 and 3 the same thing?

Could anyone help me?

Are you talking about valve timing or ignition timing?

I'm trying to fix the timing on my bike because when I started it for the first time it was really loud and after about 30 seconds the exhaust was bright red.

I'm ringing him on Monday though.
