this seems stupid but honeslt have no clue how to do this, i have an elstar 125cc Blade and my back tyre went out, i had no problem taking it out im just trying to figure out how to take the tyre off the rim, i tried using screwdrivers but wont work.

Thx :D

Umm, first take your wheel off. No idea if you know how to do that, but there is like two nuts on eahc side of your wheel holding it in. get a spanner and hold one side of it, and get a rachet and unscrew it then pull it out, There are two bushes on each side of the wheel. REMEMBER in which order they go.

Next once you have done that, I have like a pry[wrong spelling] bar which I stick under the edges of the rim to pop out the outside plastic?[the bit with the knobbies] keep doing this around in a circle until it has all popped out. Grab ur tube out and fill it up with air, stick the tube in a bucket of water and check where their are any holes. You may choose to get a new tube or get a tube repair kit [pretty self explainatory].

Then pop it all back in [should be easier this time].

I hope this helped,
Its only how i do it and i dont know if i worded it properly!

Use tyre levers or take it to shop is the short answer. :D

Take it to a shop if you dont know how to do it. I have been doing pushbike tyres for 30 years and wheelchair ones for 3 years and they are a piece of piss compared to 12" motorbike tyres. If you have ripped the valve out get the shop to put a rim lock in at the same time.

Even the shop said they hated changing the 10" tyres and they're gonna stop taking them!

Yeah the shops cant stand it. I changed both 10" tyres on me 110 a while ago and It was a bit of a pain a good tip is a bit of soap around the bead when putting the tire back on the rim then give it a wash with water when on to prevent slippage. I had to replace a tube on a 12" today and it was way too hard for me to get the bead ot come off. Even the tyre shop had trouble getting it off the rim. I thought the 12" would be easier must depend on the tyre.

mines 12" and i can take it of and replace the tube and have it bake on the bike in under 15min
