I like silkolene spray on filter oil , its the cleanest quickest to use.
I also found that motorex filter oil is great too!!
But if your going to use the tin can stuff rather than the aerasol spray , get a small painters bucket and lid pour the filter oil into it , dilute it with about 300ml's of metho - this thins it out and is less likely to choke your filter!
Then just put your filter in it wash it around , then sqeeze it out in to bucket!
