how the hell do i get the selector fork off?

hey guys im in the process of trying to replace 3rd gear in my lifan 140 i have the cases split and i have found the problem gear but i cant get the selector fork off the drum. i pulled out the little clip but i cant work out how to get the pin out pls help its bloody frustrating.

it should just slip out... maybe its all burred up. there's not enough of it poking out to put a set of pliers on? try a really strong magnet.

nah there is nothing sticking out i was thinking about using a magnet i just have to find one now. i will let ya know how it goes

nope, magnet didn't work im thinking about using a sledge hammer to get it out i think it might make me feel better too

lol is it possible to get new ones? try drilling it out!

i finally got it! i just kept trying with the magnet and it finally got it, now i just have to find a new gear and selector fork and whack it all back together. i really hope i can remember where everything goes it's been apart for about 2 weeks now. thanks for the help.
