How to clean moto pants?

Some may say stupid question but, my pants say dont use detergants and cold wash only. Put my pants through a gentle cycle in the washing machine, no spin cycle, and they pretty much came out the same way they went in.

Any tips?

Is the no detergant thing to protect the waterproof stuff they put on there. The pants are only one ride old and a little bit muddy already, no grease or anything like that.

I get truck wash spray it on then pressure blast it off. Then shuv it in the washing machine. Works a treat. Just use some leather conditioner on the heat pannels when they dry out

Ummm yeah I just wash em lol but honestly I dont know what the mrs uses when she washes them but they always come up clean

as unit does but minus the truck wash, i use my pressure cleaner, but with an outdoor broom to scrub, 2mins, done.

(thats when they actually DO get washed)

seems to be the easy solution for the short term.
