Looks like a tdr pro with some generic thumbstar graphics on it.

That bike has Thumbstar graffic's, so no, i doubt it's a Thumpstar
Thumpstar | Buy Pit Bikes | Mini Moto | Dirt Bike | Australia

I reckon this one is, Alloy frame etc, but has 12/10 wheel's on it, and a Z160Ho engine,$1200 firm, (bit much)
It would shred the back tyre in that bike

Can't see the picture of the one on facebook, you need to be a member of their page.
And that DHZ might be one, but you can't really see anything in the pic's
It would most likely need a lot of part's to be replaced.
There is a red fork adjuster missing in the pic

No brand or anything on the motor the number on it is IP56FMJ06071153 and has stars at the start and finish of it

It has the Provert style frame, Engine number is a Lifan 150cc, but the clutch cover is off a Lifan 140
The engine isn't a 1P55FMJ is it ?

Would it be worth offering him $400? He has it advertised for about 500 i think

Yeah the cheaper the better.
But remember you'll need to spend a bit of money on it to get it up to scratch, rear brake set up including a new brake pedal, master, caliper, hose, bolt's, mounting bracket, banjo bolt's brake fluid etc, plastic's, sticker kit and maybe more.
Depend's on how well it's been adjusted and maintained.

You need to ride the bike to check all the gear's work properly, and don't slip out of gear, select nicely.
Check it start's easy, rev's without a bog.
Being a second hand bike it could cost you another couple of hundred $$ on top of the purchase price, maybe more if the engine is no good (around $600 +)
