that DMX 125 someone said sorry he's bought it ?

Yeah me!!!That was another guy asking about it.....That dude bought another bike a Pit Pro in Rynella. The guy selling it seemed a little dodgy then I saw the DMX further down and realised it had a big bore lifan in it and a good frame so I decided it was a good deal, he PM's me after I asked if it was still for sale and hooked it up for tomorrow. Facecrack is weird and there are a lot of time waster on that site, hence why its easy to get stuff. Look at the posts a bit further up the other 76cc pit bike guy wants to swap for an amp or something ;) same deal....The DMX is running and looks pretty tight, always somethign else going on with the other bikes, flat wheel or loose chain or needs work etc...This guy seems genuine, there is a big wheel up now for cash offers....

yeah, i liked that site a while ago.
so many time wasters !!
i have picked up a couple of bargains off it though.

that Lifan 125 big bore, is the same size bore as your Ducar, 54mm
it does have bigger Valves in the head than your Ducar though

Cool well I might be able to swap some parts from the TDR, I mainly want a decent frame, I was already sizing up jumps on the bike last time I rode it...Maybe end up swapping the ducar motor into the DMX and use the 26mm mikuni on the ducar in that? I just want something stong frame wise, pretty sure that DMX frame is the same as in the higher end bikes? Anything that has far less chance of snapping on me is a good thing, can keep the other for someone else to come riding on, or as a parts bike...I'll try get it for 350 I'll jsut show him the thing for $999 RRP and point out all the things that are wrong with it ;) plus the TDR has a **** seat that other guy was serious...it does hurt your arse really badly!!!

the DMX frame is better than the TDR yeah, but is still mild steel.
it will handle some smaller jumps ok.

the frame and engine are the only things better than your TDR and possibly the brakes (bigger calipers?)

hardest thing is being the first one there to look at a decent bike if you find one.
you might find something with a 155/160 and linkage suspension/adjustable forks for $500 or less if your lucky?

Yeah I'll see if I can get him down to around $300 then its probably about correct market value for it second hand. Once he's here and I have cash in my hand its always easier to negotiate a better price!! I've been keeping my eye out there and I havn't seen much that good and running lately. A big wheel just came up but no side shots and the swing arm looks cheap so...pass on that one. See how it goes I guess! As always invaluable help for the noob that I am, learning fast though!

well i have your number now, if i see anything that looks good i'll msg you.
you sound like you need a cro-mo framed bike, something like a Pitsterpro, or a Pitpro
maybe look out for one with a damaged/blown engine etc or something needing work and is cheap, then fix it up.

i was lucky to pick up my Atomik Fuse for $120 with a dead 125 Lifan, i put my 150 Lifan into it
i'll ask a fiend too when i see him next, he sometimes has some good/cheap bikes

i saw you mentioned Miniriders on that Facebook site too,
that sounds like fun here if they want help fixing their bikes, lol.

i will catch up with you tomorrow any way.

cheers

Ah I doubt a lot of them will actually figure it out. Always good to have a community that wants the same thing though, local legal places to ride ;) Yep I'll catch ya tomorrow.

Cheers

Well I got myself a chromo frame....The pit pro dude wanted the cash apparently the other guy couldnt pick it up until tomorrow...so score for me! DSC_0164.jpgDSC_0163.jpgDSC_0163.jpgDSC_0161.jpg
