i finally got my bike!!!!but...

i finally got my bike!!!!!but...
it was going fine then it just stopped working!!!!!
then there was feul leaking out of the carby!?!?!
then dad got all pissed and put it away!!! stupid s.o.b!!!
why is there fuel leaking outta the carby!!!

the float is probly jammed or needs adjustment, otherwise check the screw at the bottom and make sure it's tight.

good luck mate, those motox bikes will have constant problems and you're gonna need to learn how to fix stuff quickly

I'm not to good with carbies . So I can't help you there. Might be worth getting some decent oil aswell:
- Shell Advance 4T Motorbike Oil - 15W-40, 1 Litre - Supercheap Auto
- Castrol Activ 4T Motorbike Oil - 15W-50, 1 Litre - Supercheap Auto

sounds like same problem i had with mine, i rode it for a bit end then it stopped and looked like fuel was coming out of the carby, further inspection showed that my exhaust burned through the fuel line, and when the fuel line heated up it melted sort of onto the exhaust and it didnt Pour Fuel out but it was leaking steadily so check that, My bike is an elstar but im pretty sure that are much the same as your atomic.. just something thats easy to check that could be wrong i suppose..

hey just after i got my atomik 140cc fuel started coming out of the carby and on further inspection i realised that my fuel line had come off and snapped hope this can help=)

nah i havent. but i guess either this afternoon or on the weekend (aka the start of holidays :] ) me and dad will have a look inside the carby. he's good with this stuff. he's worked with rallie cars with mikuni carby's so it should be fine taking it apart! anyway ill keep ya'll updated!
