Interested in gettin a bike

I'm interested in gettin a pit bike. Few of my mates have them (one a genuine thumpstar, another an atomik off ebay) and I wouldn't mind getting one myself, but on a pretty tight budget.

How cheap can I get them on ebay?
What make/model are decent/ good value for money?
Could I get a bike for around $400-450?

yeah you ccould prob get a bike off ebay for $450 - $500. won't be the best quality but it would be great for a beginner

dont get a mxb or some cheap box truss me... my mate got a bike mxb and it was good when he first got it.. it was sik but now its just go down hill

Look at pitpro 125rr or pitpro 110cc these are probably the best cheapies on Ebay. Just watch all of them fro a week or so to work out how much to bid. Some go for a real good price.

Yeh definitally a PITPRO 125rr Or the New AGB-29, They have a 140cc oil cooled anygear start engine not the old ****** ones ( ducar 125cc ) they go for around 750 and really worth the money! personally i'd never buy a 2nd hand china bike, your really just relieing on somones word and you dont even know them!

I don't mind the look the Pitpro Outlaws, but they seem a bit more pricey, and seem hard to find on ebay.
Anything else I should know?

Get a pitpro, alot of my mates have them.. they never really had too many problems with it.. except for accelerator cable snapping but that happens on everybike but however DO NOT GET A DIRTMASTER FROM REDBACK IMPORTS IN THOMASTOWN!

I think the outlaws are sold out bro but the RR and Outlaw both have equal pro's / con's in my opinion.

Haven't ridden the atomik yet (got it pretty recently), so dunno what its like compared to the thumpstar.
