irk timming

can some one please show me a pic of were my timming should be on my irk
or detailed info on were to place it

oh also adjusting the floats how do you do it? there dosnt seem to be anytype of adjustment to me

well i have moved mine from one extreme to the other and didrnt notice a difference But i need to do some more testing as i live on a main road and was riding up and down it to se the difference but at the moment its like 2 mill down from the top

my IRK came with the timing set to max retarded (ignition pickup pushed all the way to the top i think that was)

i moved mine so the pickup screws were right in the middle of the sliders and noticed a little extra punch and no pinging even going up hill in a gear or two higher than i shoulda been in.

there is such a thing as too much timing tho, which will rob power/cause pinging... make sure your jetting isnt lean and run 95 octane premium

thanks for that ninetysix i allready run octane premium which is good ill adjust it to the middle an see how it goes

how do i know what size jetts to have? i can pull down a 2stroke engine easy but dont know much about jetting an carby tune so any help with that would be great
