If you found out it wasn't genuine you could just take it back and say they clearly said it was fastace i guess....

theres 3 main levels of fastace
the top of line is fast ace USA
middle in TAIWAN and the last is a basic repro in china
ull notice different style,colours and design ,prices and this is ur indication of origin

red and black are mainly usa,taiwan and silver,white are fast ace china knocking off dnm products

yeah i would agree with you mate,
i have the fastace BS65RC model which is a great shock, and its black and red. My mate has wanted the same one for a while, but thought it was too expensive. But then one day he come's home with one which looks identical to mine but its red and white spring and he said "man they have come down in price" he hocks it onto his bike and man i tell ya its not the same shock. he's a little disapointed but what can you do hey?

the fastace website has a white spring pictured on thier model line up. so it could just depend on what colour was orded by the importer. Well now i just need to know why my mates one is performing crap. could be his crapy setting on it.

are you sure its a BS65 ???...or is it a BS66??
