Okay 24hp at 150cc.....

Imagine the 220cc option with the best cam , and a fcr 32mm on the thing!

It isnt so much air cooled any more so doubt you could run it in any classes .

talk away .. how cool is it lol

edit.. pm thread

Italian 220cc. Billet Monster Engine!!! - Page 6 - Planet Minis

took i while to complete i remember someone posting images of the just the cases like over a year ago..

but i wanna see some dyno done on this thing it would have to be around 28-30

Yer it has been finished ages ago , i just thought it needed to be shared on MR lol

Yer people have claimed 30hp

It isnt so much air cooled any more so doubt you could run it in any classes

and you should still be aloud to run it in pitbike classes as the rules are horizontal engines only and as far as im aware this engine is sitting horizontal in the bike although it should make the bike ride vertical ;)

it truly is a piece of art and i could just imagine the price tag

must be air cooled tho , which this isnt , or else i could put a cr500 engine in my bike on a slight angle ;) and call it a horizontal engine

yer well what about oil cooled??

and i still cant see why you wouldnt be able to run it as the head and cylinder is horizontal to the g-box

Ok no Liquid-cooled engines then

Oil cooled is quite different and allowed in the rules.

what surprises me is that it's got such a short stroke, which probably means a slipper piston, is massively oversquare, but still only revs to 11500rpm... high rev ceiling, but given the dimensions of the motor, the possibilities are for a 14-15000rpm ceiling...
guessing the sohc probably limits it a bit....

Yer that is strange , there is a video of it somewhere getting ridden on motard . found it on google somewhere , and it sounds like its all torque

Ill try and find it .

lol

Not positive this is it but it was posted in a thread about it ..

YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.

It uses the Takegawa gearbox that is in the complete 138cc taky engine .
And can use the 5-speed gear box with it .... mmmmmm

Isnt there a point when the bore gets so much bigger then the stroke it starts adding torque ?

That thing is nuts. Kinda defeats the purpose of mini riding chinas though due to it being crazy expensive. Would be great fun though!
oldhack.

Adding billet engine GM Torque Tube gains up to 8 hp and 12 ft/lb of torque. This torque tube replaces the intake tube that connects your air cleaner to the air intake giving you increased performance.

Here's my latest mod.
Horizontal, air cooled, standard at 223cc. CRF230
