AGB-27 Fuel cap...

Hey guys and Girls... I chewed the thread on my orion agb27 fuel tank and i am getting a new tank. My question is, does anyone know if/where i can get a plastic fuel cap for it? The alloy cap is the cause of the cross threaded tank and want to prevent this from happening again.. Does any other plastic cap fit? Even the jerry can caps on some plastic tanks at supercheap look like they might screw on (i would have to tap the breather into it) but wanna know for sure.. Thanks.

im not sure what plastic fuel cap fits but if you keep your alloy fuel cap get a dremal or sandpaper and sand/grind down the sharp edges of the thread in the cap
and that should stop it from cross threading your plastic thread on your fuel tank

1994 kx80 cap shall fit. My pit pro one would fit on the kx... which means they would have the same thread right... thus it should fit.

did you mean agb27?? instead of kgb27??.. im pretty sure any cheap cap you find on ebay or something will fit

Yeah AGB-27.. its not russian All the caps on ebay are ALLOY.. i am chasing a PLASTIC one.. Will go to the local bike wreckers and see what fits.. Cheers..
