leaky 250. what is this?

gday fellas, just thought id ask on here before i pop this plug out of my engine and seal it up.

does anyone know what this screw is for? if i pull it out and put some sealant on it and put it back in its not gunna change any timing, or something silly?

That screw is removed when getting your engine at TDC, with it removed and by turning the magneto(which is turnt by removing the silver case below it with four bolts in it)you will then see the lines for with T and F(T=top dead centre and F=fire, when the plug sparks), the screw which is leaking should have an oring on it and may be perished, id change the oring or put some thread tape(plumbers tape)on it, but to answer your question, No it will not interfere with timing mate.
