hey hows it going guys i have 2 questions for you guys, I have a lifan 125 and lifan 110 motor the 110 is perfectly fine but my 125 slips second gear. My questions are why does it slip in gear and can i fix it? 2. If i cant fix it im going to put the 125 top end on the 110 bottom end since it has the big valve head and a mikuni 24mm etc. thanks for all your time!

Lifan trans', especially if a 1-down, 3-up, are notorious for taking the dogs off second and/or third. New gears are needed.

125 has a taller cylinder with a different stud pattern. Not a straight swap. The e22 that's on the 110 cleans up nicely. Add a 52.4mm high compression piston and you'll be ahead of the low-squeeze 125.
