Lifan 140 Problem

Hey everyone i replaced the head on a lifan 140 and upon trying to restart the bike it now has too much compresion and kicking back on the starter like crazy. Would it be possible that if the stator turned a little and i turned it the wrong way back to tdc it would cause this? like the engine is at the wrong tdc? or is that just a silly presumption?

check the valves when you set it up to check them you will see if its out

as dadof2 said valves.. mite be a little too tight

id be checking the cam timing as well.

and what sort of ignition are you running? IRK or normal magneto
