Lifan 150 bbk

Anyone done a big bore on a lifan 150?. Anyone know how big i can go before the cases need boring?

I bore the stock jug to 57.5, and stroke cranks up to 67mm.

Yes, strokes over 61mm or so require trimming of the inner cases.

What in the way of other performance parts do you have that would suit lifan 150 motor , I iust got a motovert rx road legal pitbike that I wanna modify to the max !

"To the max" is sorta my specialty
The Lifan will go 60x67, 189cc or so. Case boring, cylinder resleeving, case mods. Adding bigger valves is a little cheaper, but the Tak head for mid-blocks is a ripper.

But,,, you're way ahead from a reliability standpoint, to start with the KLX-pattern YX or Zonger engine. 215cc via 66x63, is easy and durable. At least relatively speaking. This way, even bigger valves are used.
