Hello all
I'm new to the site.
My motor is very difficult for me to identify and find information on. I bought it years ago and it's been sitting on a shelf so all paperwork is lost and parts have long been thrown in with all my other "spare parts"
On the motor are DDR side covers and a top mounted clutch actuator. The gearing appears to be 4up and some identifying codes are labeled the most helpful are 1p54fmi leading me to believe it is of lifan origin and 138cm^3 but I bought it under the assumption it was a 125cc
I've looked on forums and through Google images but have not found much info and have found nothing regarding the DDR labeling
Thanks

hmmm, looks like a yx140, the cylinder fins look identical, and so does the head, id say its had a case transplant in its lifetime?
here's a picture of a yx140

heres one of a lifan 140, note the cylinder fins

and a lifan 125

The whole package was new in box when I bought it. It does have strong similarities with the yx but there are no yx markings on it and the 1p54fmi code is lifan. The only other mfg markings were on the cylinder image.jpg

It's a Lifan 138c, 54mm Bore, 55.5mm Stroke, 27/23 Big valve head
They are actually only a 127cc engine, but they do go pretty hard for their size
