Lifan vs YX

I have seen a few of the YX engines selling and I was just wondering what people think of them? How do they compare to the Lifan for power, reliability and all round performance?

YX? what the hell are they.. i would be saying are nope they sound very ebay/chinaish but theres not much that can kill a good old lifan =)

The YX motors seem to be ok, I have a 140cc one in my pitty and ride with guys with 140cc lifans and don't really notice any difference. Could just be different riders tho.

Still probably a bit early to know how they will compare against the Lifans in lifespan but there seem to be heaps of Pitpro 140XR's around now and apart from there pathetic state of tune they come from the factory in have not heard of anyone blowing one up or smashing one to pieces so they seem to be ok.

HAHA have you herd of a FMR the latest 150 out they use a yx and that is not a cheap bike, it says magnuim motor but it is a yx.
dirtmax use and bring YX motors in and they are hands down better than a lifan
make more power and torque

my yx150 is great! just the carb thats no good for me! never ridden a lifan 150 so can't comment
