Yeh China stuff is getting better , the new dhz bikes for 1k seem to hold up preety well. None of them broke in any of the 3 rounds at the hunter jam. None of them overheated and ******* themselves despite the 40 degree heat at full throttle for 20 mins non stop.
The pitster pro's where incredible , insnaley fast ( Beating Dohc's!) and showed no sign of faulting.
I think China bikes need to minimise the bling factor and get some better quality casting material and steel. Eg the xtreme motor co 90cc gc and the 110cc bikes where the first imported china bike in 2003 and most of them are still running today. They had 0 bling , not even a billet gas cap but they where indestructable.
Motovert is starting to cut down on the bling by the looks of things and focus on strength and reliability as have pitster.
I remember pulling down a mates agb-27 , it was the funniest put together bike I had ever seen. The rear engine mount was shared with the swingarm pivot. The top shock mount was almost impossible to get off let alone imagining getting it on. The frame gusset was welded on an angle. It must of taken a warehouse of china men to put it together , friggin hell it was funny. They have come along way since then. Ducar runs still but haha , even when it spent the first year of its life with the transport oil in the cases and more often than not the oil level is only at the very very bottom of the dipstick (way past the etched part). Valves are out but that doesnt stop it , I dont think we can destroy it. It had 2 adults doubling on it for a whole weekend , has never seen a clean air filter in its life and has never seen a clean. And still keeps up with the 140's???????????????????
Might of herd of it before , THE DOOK. There's multiple threads on it. 4 years old that bastard. Preety hard to miss when it has 'dook' carved into it.
We are going to organise a birthday party for it when it hits 5. I think it might even be at the next hunter jam. what a legendary piece of china engineering. Im gonna get some photo's of it and start a thread.
Has anyone got a ducar which has lasted 4 years with 0 love?
Legendary motor that one
