i wouldn`t get one myself, the way i see it is what would you use it for? i`ve just never seen one before.
unit_mx i`m getting the feeling you kinda dislike chinese products hahaha

i sell this stuff everyday and i have to agree, some of the things i have assemble you think they must not have quality control but other things seem pretty good. i own 7 chinese motorbikes and the only problem i`ve had is my son`s 110cc quad lost a battle with a tree and resulted in a bent steering arm.

Yeh China stuff is getting better , the new dhz bikes for 1k seem to hold up preety well. None of them broke in any of the 3 rounds at the hunter jam. None of them overheated and ******* themselves despite the 40 degree heat at full throttle for 20 mins non stop.

The pitster pro's where incredible , insnaley fast ( Beating Dohc's!) and showed no sign of faulting.

I think China bikes need to minimise the bling factor and get some better quality casting material and steel. Eg the xtreme motor co 90cc gc and the 110cc bikes where the first imported china bike in 2003 and most of them are still running today. They had 0 bling , not even a billet gas cap but they where indestructable.

Motovert is starting to cut down on the bling by the looks of things and focus on strength and reliability as have pitster.

I remember pulling down a mates agb-27 , it was the funniest put together bike I had ever seen. The rear engine mount was shared with the swingarm pivot. The top shock mount was almost impossible to get off let alone imagining getting it on. The frame gusset was welded on an angle. It must of taken a warehouse of china men to put it together , friggin hell it was funny. They have come along way since then. Ducar runs still but haha , even when it spent the first year of its life with the transport oil in the cases and more often than not the oil level is only at the very very bottom of the dipstick (way past the etched part). Valves are out but that doesnt stop it , I dont think we can destroy it. It had 2 adults doubling on it for a whole weekend , has never seen a clean air filter in its life and has never seen a clean. And still keeps up with the 140's???????????????????

Might of herd of it before , THE DOOK. There's multiple threads on it. 4 years old that bastard. Preety hard to miss when it has 'dook' carved into it.

We are going to organise a birthday party for it when it hits 5. I think it might even be at the next hunter jam. what a legendary piece of china engineering. Im gonna get some photo's of it and start a thread.

Has anyone got a ducar which has lasted 4 years with 0 love?

Legendary motor that one

haha , hopefully the dook will take it. I think he's gonna do some tlc work to it soon.

I herd the valves are soon to be checked , mybe fresh oil?

Might be hard to get that head off to put the cam in , all encrusted with carbon. The pistons got no where to go haha

bahaha what valves? the ones in that get left in the bottom of the sump? lol
oil is the posion of dook..
the cam will make or break!

speaking of chinese engineering, one fine example is my motovert rx, i cant remove the oil filler cap unless i remove the exhaurst. dabomb - does urs have this problem?

my first 125 mini had a ducar 125 in it and same story - transport oil, never had a new filter, never did a valve check, took it out riding every weekend for a joke on the farm trying to keep up with the cr 125. Eventually stacked it and smashed the engine cover leaking its precious juices all over the ground i just figured id sell it cus it wasnt worth fixing. . probly still running at the moment.

haha ya i had a agb29 back in the day was my first pitty lol and it ran the ducar.......i floged it and floged it every thing broke around the motor so i fixed it best i could and sold it to a mate really cheap........now he finally destroyed the old frame but now he has the same motor in another frame and its still goin and ya no oil changes no filter cleans.......this engine been copping crap for around 3 years and shows no signs of dieing yet still starts first kit every time hot or could :D gotta love the ducar :D

yes yes it does....

when accessing theoil fill hole, i remove plastics, the rear muffler mount bolt then loosen the head stud bolts for the exhaust and swing it outthe side...

was talking to andy at ec50s and he said u can get some weird shape header which allows you to do it with the zorst on...

^^^^^ my vert pro is the same but i can undo the oil filler plug and i just whipped up a home made funnel which allows me to poor the oil in

ok sweet, i`ll look into a different header pipe to make life easier

haha, my ducar is going on 3, ive crashed i, smashed it, a chain has snaapped and broke the inside of the front sprocket cover. I don't think we have every had to take the motor apart. ive broken basically everything around it including the frame, which we are only replacing now, and ive left it in the shed expsed, the whole rear end leaning on the echaust header bolt, for about 8 months. and i think the engine still runs cuz we haven't gotten it all togert yet. but we just got a 26mm carb for it YAY!
