a online shop would be good

or if you want to be nice can some one buy one an send it to me an ill send you the money

also one quick question what part of the carby do i measure to see what size the carby is??

cheers guys

DHZ on ebay seem to be pretty good. I'm ordering some jets from them now. also, Show and Go in SA on 08 8376 0333 can get you jets too. You'll need the part number which I believe is VM28/486 and quote whether it's primary or main jet and the size (#105 etc)

I didn't know he sells jets??? Or he just doesn't sell them on his ebay shop??? I'm still wanting to get a 105 main jet.

it would be hard to find Mikuni jets online purchase......

But T.D.Hatrick & CO in QLD are the mikuni distributors, so they may be able to help you.

VM28/486 is a pilot jet don't order one of those.

A main jet is called a N100/604 (large round). So to order the correct part you need to order a N100/604 - 102.5 or if you want a 105 its N100/604 - 105

I hope this helps

thanks cass i sent a email to some guy that sells them, im just waiting for a price an then ill buy it

oh an my carby is a mikuni 25mm what size is yours cass??

Its just the one that came on the bike, Its a 22mm Mikuni from memory.
I am in no way a "carby guru" but my bike is running 100% now that it is tuned using the method I sent you. From what I know the carb you have will be perfect for the 140cc, however if you are getting main jets you probably should get both a 102.5 and a 105 as when you change it you will probably want to try both and get the best one before you muck around with the E-clip.

Try the 102.5 first, I have tried the 105 on a 140 lifan and ended up running the 102. I was much happier with that

wow whats going on? why all of a sudden are my old threads being bumped :S

this one is 3 months old and my other one that got bumped was 1 year old

.........lol
thanks anyways triggy for trying to help but ive sorted out my carby 3 months ago

Well, since it's been bumped, may I ask...

My bike gets hard to start after some laps, can a dirty air filter cause such drastic difference? Or has the bike been running rich from the very beginning?
My riding place is usually dry n dust get kicked up easily.

Yeah when I have a new engine it runs perfectly but then after 3 or 4 months it becomes very hard to start and has flat spots, I tried starting it in the shed without an airfilter and it didnt make any difference, must be running rich.
