hey everone, im new to this site, but i joined to hopefully find some help on this issue. i dont know a whole lot about these kind of engines, but i can figure it out if someone will help me. I have a 120cc 4 stroke engine that i think may be having some compression problems. I took out the restrictor plats in my exaust because i wanted it to sound louder. It sounds louder, and worked great for like a day, and now im having trouble starting it, and if i try to accelorate it gets bogged down and dies, or i have to return to idol if i want it to keep running. I think it has something to do with what i did to the exaust..does anyone know how to fix this without putting the restrictor plate back in(if that would even fix it)...thanks so much for anyones help....

i dont think this is a mini choppers site

was it running fine before you played with it? usally these problems are caused by the last thing you touched....

but these engines are easy to get parts for usally the same as one of the honda's

Put the exhaust back its common sense if you didnt change something. Remember motors dont just magicly loose power, eveything happens for a reason.

These little motor need what youcal back pressure. Theres gotta be a happpy medium

Here a rule for exhaust

Bigger I.D and shorter+more top end power(oubviously you can go too far and have nothing)

Longer and smallER i.D+ MORE TORQUE(oubviosly you can go too far)
