Hey guys, Just thought id like to introduce myself first, my name is Jay, and im currantly living in sydney.

Im here just to ask a few questions regarding this bike i saw on ebay its a mini dirt bike its only 49 cc.

eBay Australia: BN 49CC MINI DIRT BIKE PIT PEE WEE MOTOR TRAIL BIKES $1 (item 140110161648, end time 24-Apr-07 18:30:00 AEST)

eBay Australia: SAMURAI RED 49cc 2007 Mini STUNT Pocket Dirt Bike (item 300102202103, end time 23-Apr-07 22:30:00 AEST)

The reason im getting such a cheap bike is because im not a serious rider, i only need it just to hoon to the shops and back.

How long do u think this would last? and how loud are they? I live in urben sydney so cops are gona be on my arse if they see me thrashing this thing around. Can u dudes gimi the pro's and cons of this mini dirt bike. There going for hell cheap so i thought bugger it, il get one. im sick and tired of walking up my hill everyday just to get to the shop lol

Hey jay, welcome to miniriders.

I dont think any of those bikes would last your first ride. Considering the bike is a two stroke.. yes they are reasonably loud.. There arent really many pros about it.. its basically a hunk of junk .. Lol

ROFL for 2 dollars and 33 dollars, you bound to have problems..

or a petrol powered skate board, that bikes gonna be more trouble than its worth honestly,

cops will bust your ass on the first sighting of it,

cheers appreciate your answers fellas

I was thinking the exact same thing when i looked at it. They look kinda weak, the frame looks like it would give in easy

I was planning on getting a thumpstar later on but atm i need something pronto

you guys got any other recomendations?

As for chucking a motor on my bike, i was previously going to do that but iv giving on my pushbikes, i was a courier for about 4 years, got sick n tired of peddling. Need instant gratifcation lol. throttle does the job

if u want a good cheap bike get a pitpro 110

Daniels right. Dont get his bike tho, hahaha. Jokes danny you know i love ya..
anyway.. yeah maybe get a pitpro or a cheap atomik..

lol i posted before i looked at it thats the worst bike ive ever seen it hasnt evern got a seat

the only problem with a bike is, cops are gonna hassle you something cronic if you plan on using it on public roads, (shops etc!!!)

atleast with a pushy if its able to be pedelled seperately i think its kinda legal within reason,

a Honda Z50 would be ideal, road legal, plenty of style and power lol, only thing $1000 atleast nowadays!!!

z50kid has got one! :p According to him its a complete piece of **** :D

LOL! its basicly a frame with a motor on it.

yea so i think i might pass on this one then lol

Il keep an eye out for pitpro or atomiks, see what i can find

I met a dude in Choffs HArbour who had a pushy with a 2 stroke that could do about 50ks up hills without pedalling. (he had put plenty of time and money into it and said it ripped the **** out of his rear tyres).

Appraantly he lost his licence and needed transport he reconed that the kit he started with was legal (less than 200 watts) and to prying eyes looks like a standard kit but was putting out way more than 200 watts.

It had some weird clutch set up that meant he couldnt idle. He held the clutch in and pedald up to about walking pace let the lever out and away it went. To stop he pulled the lever in and it disengaged and killed the engine.
