This is for all you people out there who own them mini disc video cameras. I got one not long ago and I am wondering what programs you people are using to convert the dvd video files to avi files???

Ulead video studio 10 plus i bought my cam for 1600 and told it comes with all editing stuff on the camera guess i got ripped hardcore!

Hey wardya does that program screw up the video quality??? And do you know if the 30 day trial has a watermark left in the middle of the video after converting... I have a slow adsl so i don't want to download it to find out that its no good for what i want it for.

the program does what eer it wants its a peice of **** after finalizing a heap of chapters on my cam then putting the disk in for Ulead it looses half the chapters no lose in quaility and i dont know bout the water mark i bought my copy.

Ok i figured it out and i needed the newer version of winavi to convert it. Ill stick with that as its free and only a 3 mb file download hehehe. Thanks anyway.

the dvd cams are rip offs filled with glitchy bugs and 30x harder editing. you can buy a DVD cam for 1500 or buy a DV tape cam for 600 and both do the same job same quailty but the dv cam is on tape.......

My dvd cam is a sony and retails for $650 new. I paid $150 for it. My old tape cam was a panasonic what was once $1200 brand new. I paid $200 for that. I like my dvd camera better.

id get a dv camera with a memory stick hole. My sont handycam does and i just bought a 512mb stick and i can record straight to that and its also childs play to edit it as it goes straight onto movie maker!
