Hey guys,

Need some help as I am new to this. I'm looking at getting some motard wheels for my MSO 140 pro. I just received my 2.15x12" front rim, and my rear are the stock 1.6x12".

Does the rear come in any larger than 1.85x12"?

And whats the largest tyre size I can fit on the 2.15x12" front and 1.85x12" rear?

hey man i saw ur post on my thread about the tt92's....i run 2.15" front and 2.5" rear.
im not sure of the tyre specs will read them when i get home, but i can tell you ihave a gap about 15mm wide between the swingarm/shock mount and tyre!

i run 2.15 on rear with 140/70 sava and it clears just on sides and top front
2.50 is a tad big for anything bigger than a 130 i think
but i dont know lol

What you'll find is the limiting factor with front tyre selection on a MSO Pro is fork clearance. Both Londin and I ride pros and Dad is using the same forks and triples. We've managed to fit a Bridgestone BT601, Vee Rubber VRM266 and a Dunlop TT92. The rear you can either run a 2.15" like myself or a 2.15". I've found that the Bridgestone is 99% perfect on a 2.15". The Dunlop is either juuuuuuust not quite right or Londin is pushing the lean angles too far because he's using every avalable micrometer of that tread! The Vee Rubber 110 rear needs a 2.5" to use all the tread and their 120 rear needs at least a 2.75". We've also tried Michelin Pilot Pros and Bridgestone B02 and they were both too wide for a 2.15" rear rim.

Thanks for the reply guys. All the info was very helpfull..

just one more question =);

where can i get a 2.15 or 2.5 rear rim? and these tyres from?

I checked ebay, I emailed MSO, I called a few places around Melbourne (on the west side), and no one sells these rims.

The tyre I think I got..have to go to the shop to check them out.

2.15 & 2.50 rims

They sell 2.15" & 2.50" wheels at DHZ.

tis where i got mine from.

Hey DaBomb,

Thanks for all your help dude.

You reckon the 2.5" rear will fit on my MSO 140? lol When you put yours on, what mods did you have to do to fit it?

no worries.

i had to extend my chain so the new tyre wouldn't rub against the shock mount on the swing arm(cause the tyres so fat) and get new brake disks cause the new hubs didn't like the old disk pattern.
Other than that should be sweet, mite get lucky with the chain and disks bolts too!
