motor help

hey all i have a honda 80 motor bike but it has a yamaha motor in it not sure what cc or what its out of
but it runs twin spark and also can have electric start heres some pics

me and my mate did a bit of custom work and fitted xr250 fron and rear mudguard
just something to have fun on paid $40 for it

does it go? looks like a pretty big motor, 125 or 175 does it have the CC or any numbers on the barrel?

at a wild guess, XL175 frame????, DT175,200 motor MAYBE

yer its not an 80 motor lol the had to cut to fit it in and yer it goes , and havent found any numbers

think its an xl80 frame as its small bike

its got a mono shock, didn't think the XL's had them, possibly an early XR80 or 100.

Any info on the head stem?

motor looks like an old DT engine maybe early to mid 70's DT250
frame and swing arm definitely isnt honda. same with the tank.. it all looks like yamaha..

and the engine will have the CC size on the barrel near the base gasket..

and on the front of the frame there will be a frame number

at a guess, that's a either a GT, or DT80 engine... Looks like it is, or was, oil injected once upon a time... frame looks like a 1981 or 1982 YZ80H or J....same with the canitilever swingarm, although i'm not entirely convinced it's the original swingarm either, judging by the subframe assembly..
Front guard is 1983-84 Honda XR250, same as the headlight....

i am 100% that's one f***ing ugly bike though...

hey all had a look on bike last night , it is a honda frame , and as for motor it says 171cc on it

how do you know its a honda frame

i cant recall a honda tht had mono shock A style swing arm.
