Hi

im gonna get my dad a Big bike for his 50th b day and was wondering what
bike i should get him?

Somthing like 200cc and over would be good and kinda cheap :p

Cheers

Well if its his 50th, its a big occasion. Don't get him a china, get him a real bike.. like a CRF250, YZ250F.. something like that. If you get him a china, he'll end up paying more in repairs than what his present was worth! :D

And hes obviously getting on, if you bought him a 250cc china.. wheel would probably fall off mid ride and he would break all sorts of bones. Get him an old 1980-2000 honda, yamaha, suzuki, kawasaki.. etc

yeh im with ben, i would never buy mi old man a china, i thought u were gonna say like a full on road bike like a 600cc or something, lol. but for dirt..i would look in to 250's and so on depends what sorta cash u have, but yeh 50th is big......

i recon around the 4, to 5 k mark should get him a late modle bike thats been well taken care of

i only just sold a rm 125 in good nik for 1,500 but id say in a 250 4,to 5 should work for ya

good luck and posta pic of the ol boy pissed at his party

What kind of riding is he into to? Depends if he prefers trail/enduro or motocross and freestyle etc. CRF's and YZ's are more motocross bikes but they'd probably be fine anyway.

I'd say look for anything above year 2000, you could get an 01 to 03 for about 4 or 5k.

My dads just over 50, wish he still rode!!

my dad rides occasionally.. cr500 (his mates that doesnt ride much, but lends the bike to dad) but he's letting go of riding now.. a 250 would be the go! really depends on his level of riding i suppose
